Spam emails have been on the rise in recent years. In fact, it is reported that 80% of all email traffic is junk today. However, with the new laws governing junk email messages as well as the spam-preventive tools available in most email applications such as Gmail Outlook, or Yahoo, there's no reason to manually delete every unwanted message you may get. You should just report it as SPAM and let your email provider do its job.
Below, we will list how to report SPAM to Hotmail, Gmail and Yahoo!, as these companies provide "free emails" to SPAMMERS!
Due to the fact that most email providers use spam-preventative tools, it's best to contact Hotmail directly if you are having issues with junk emails and want them to be removed. In addition, keep in mind that every email provider has its own handling policies for junk emails so you may receive a different answer from someone else. Hotmail will quickly remove any junk messages they deem inappropriate and hopefully, in the future, they'll stop providing a way to empower SPAMMERS to use their systems to SPAM the rest of us who detest SPAM!
Here's how to report SPAM to Hotmail
Do not respond -- Do not reply to the message or to any embedded links.
1. Add the sender address to the blocked sender's list
2. Report spam or other messages that violate our policies to us by forwarding the spam mail to [email protected] (or, if you are using a web-based email client, report it through the client's reporting channel). If you're not sure where it came from, simply forward it to [email protected]
