We believe that church is not an event, rather, the church is the people of God, filled with the Spirit of God, sent on the Mission of God. Because of this, we are a church that gathers and scatters in Lake City, FL.
Church on The Way - Mission & Purpose
We exist to reach people with the gospel, build them up together in Christ, and send them out to love our city and our world.
Weekend gatherings are the primary way we gather as a church around the bread and cup, to pray, learn the Scriptures, and worship together as the people of God, before we scatter in community groups all week long. In our smaller communities, we are on the mission of God, as the family of God, making disciples of Jesus.
