About Maryland State Library for the Blind and Print Disabled
LBPD provides FREE accessible reading options to those who are unable to read standard print due to a visual or physical impairment. LBPD provides audio, large print, and Braille books; audio and Braille magazines; accessible college textbooks; accessible technology training; accessible library events and programs; and ADA compliant computer workstations. This service is free to qualified Marylanders, and can be used on either a temporary or permanent basis. Applications for service can be found: www.lbph.maryland.gov; or by calling 800-964-9209.
