About Josephine Volunteer Fire Department
The Josephine Fire Department is an all-volunteer Fire Department. We come from all walks of life, but with the same drive to help our community. We are considered an Advanced Life Support Emergency Medical Provider due to the number of Paramedics and EMTs on our roster.
Our borders generally run from County Road 590 to our south, County Road 549 to our north, Hunt County to our east, and 78 to our west. We cover approximately 42 square mile in our Fire District and generally run approximately 650 calls a year.
